You brought up a great point about how new situations might now be experienced for how they are if someone is suffering from previous trauma. I think this is what is happening to my friend. He seems to not have fun with anything so maybe I can get him to talk to a counselor about it.

I love the idea of exercising mental health as if it were a physical exercise routine. This could help a lot of people understand what it is all about. Training your brain to be positive just as you train your body to be strong.

Thank you for comparing the need to go to counseling to the need to go for a walk. Mental health is just as important as physical health. They both need to be taken care of in order for people to strive.

I really like that you compared going to counseling with going to the gym or participating in exercises classes. My sister has been considering going to counseling and I have been heavily encouraging her. She is a fitness nut so maybe if I equate going to counseling to take care of your mind with going to the gym to take care of your body she will be more willing to go.

It does make sense to seek out a professional for your mental health before it eventually gets worse and affects your lifestyle. I heard from a colleague that his brother has been posting negative stuff online lately. Maybe it's time that they intervene by finding a mental health recovery service.

I find it interesting when even influential and self-actualized human beings would answer that counseling is a good idea, too. I wonder what educational therapy is for because I heard that my sister is looking for it for her daughter. No matter what it is, as long as it is going to help her child improve in any way, it will be worth it in order to help her have a more meaningful life with a positive mind.
